The Dutch Reformed Church congregation of Rossville, based at Rhodes, was founded on 11 February 1893. The name “Rossville” honours the Rev David Ross.
The Rhodes (Rossville) Baptismal Register starts the very next day: Sunday, 12 February 1893, with entries for children from the Theron, Botha, Klopper, Stapelberg, Vorster, De Wet and Hattingh families.
Rhodes 100: 1891-1991, compiled by Hanna Reeders, has several examples of entries from the baptismal and marriage registers.
Registers have also been microfilmed and are searchable through FamilySearch

FamilySearch is a nonprofit organization and website operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You will need to register (for free) to search the many genealogical records, databases and indexes, and to upload your own information.
Navigating the FamilySearch images can be a little tricky, so you may like to use this very useful page created and authored by Cornel Viljoen: Cape Dutch Reformed Church (NGK) Ring Book Records index
